Her father, who owned one of the biggests casinos in Vegas, never hesitated to give her anything she wanted and turned Scarlett into quite the spoiled brat. Asides from the copious amount of money at her disposal, Scarlett lived a pretty average life. She went to school in Vegas where she was by far the prettiest and most loved girl in school, or so she likes to tell herself. She had several boyfriends who she played around with for fun and on the weekends she would party hard like any normal teenager. Except she wasn't exactly all normal. Miss Scarlett had a unique special ability. The power to control blood. She actually thinks it is quite awesome, though the way she discovered so was a little traumatizing. Basically, one of the weird girls in her freshmen class really pissed her off one day. Like really pissed her off. And Scarlett was just sitting there glaring at her with such contempt wishing with every fiber of her being that this girl would just go away. And then she passed out on the desk, dead as a door nail. As Scarlett would come to discover, she had given the girl a blood clot in her brain. Her power certainly isn't something to mess with and is something she's worked for years to control. But, it certainly does have many perks now. If someone were ever the poison her, she could stop it from going through her blood stream, and if she were cut open she could prevent herself from bleeding to death. Also, she can cause clots and stop the flow of blood in her own body as well as in the body of others. One time, she made a spear out of blood, but hasn't been able to replicate it since. Her power requires a great deal of concentration and she meditates every day to keep herself stable and be able to use her powers should she need them. Anyways, once her family figured out about her special little power they flipped out, needless to say. Especially since they figured it out when she was trying to make another blood spear, lost concentration, bled too much, and passed out. Her parents thought she had tried to commit suicide and were horrified to discover that instead she had powers that made her into a little freak, according to her mom. So, her dad told everyone she needed to go to the hospital, packed her things, and dropped her off at Yucca Mountain, where she has lived ever since. She discovered a passion for tattooing ever since coming into town and owns a little parlor in town. She doesn't make a lot of money, but her dad still gives her a monthly allowance so she doesn't really mind. She only has one tattoo herself though which says "Te amo como se aman ciertas cosa oscuras, secretamente, entre la sombra y el alma", which in English means "I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul." A quote that speaks deeply to her. BEHIND THE MASK ALIAS sarah AGE nineteen ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE four years FOUND US advertisement CODE WORD admin edit! Some said that blood-stained shackles hung from the stone walls and that snakes roamed about on the floor. Other students sometimes swore that they sometimes heard animalistic screams coming from the dungeons and accused the Slytherins of sacrificing small animals down there for some sort of Dark ritual. Thankfully, Slytherin students had much better taste than that. In fact, the Slytherin common room was quite cozy, but the Slytherins were quite content to keep letting the population of Hogwarts continue believing such fear-inspiring rumors. The common room always had a roaring fire that warmed the otherwise cold dungeons and it was one of the few places Lucius Malfoy could relax after a strenuous and long day. And by relax Lucius, of course, meant doing some light reading for one of his classes on the leather couch directly in front of the roaring fire. He didn't believe in wasting time, after all. In the common room, Lucius could let down his guard slightly because majority of his enemies couldn't gain access to him in here. Many of the Slytherins were wealthy purebloods that he had established important alliances with and he made sure the others feared and respected him, but he could never let his guard down completely. He was a Malfoy, after all, and he had many enemies just because of his surname. After finishing his required reading in a matter of minutes, he snapped his book closed and scanned the common room. Various students huddled conversing in hushed voices in the corner, but otherwise it was deserted. That soon changed when a boy from his year waltzed through the portrait. According to his father, this boy was the son of a sniveling coward who dared ask his father for money when he pissed it all away on gambling and whores. Unsurprisingly, the boy approached him and attempted to make small talk, obviously attempting to get in his good graces on orders of his father. His father, however, had ordered him to not associate with their family at all. The boy mentioned the slight dispute between their fathers and said he hoped they could help Twork it out in a way that was mutually beneficial to both of them. And with that, Lucius had put up with enough. "I do not see how any outcome could mutually benefit both of our families. The Malfoy family, after all, usually donates to more respectable charities," he started, "Futhermore, the narrowly forked side of your father's family tree gives my father reason to believe that your father may have mental disabilities that will lead him to misuse any money given to your family." The snarky voice was worthy of a Malfoy. When the boy reached for his wand, Lucius whipped his out before the other boy could blink and stared him down. "I would think again." And, with a glare, the boy stomped up the stairs. He almost rolled his eyes. He wasn't concerned about his recently gained enemy in Slytherin. He wasn't really a threat. Lucius reached for some parchment to inform his father that he had taken care of that matter. |
