THE STORY Daniel Theodore Swayze was born on the January Fourth exactly twenty three years ago. He was the eldest of three children, all three boys. His mother and his father absolutely adored their child. They were a very family-orientated family, and lived right next door to their own parents. On days that they were working, which was most days, they would give their three boys over to the grandparents. The three boys would spend their afternoons there, in complete bliss. And that's how Daniel's childhood went. Living with his grandparents during the day and his parents at night. He was an excellent student, he learned at the full capacity and got along well with a majority of the other students. And he remained good, like this, up until he hit high school. They always say high school brings out the worst in people - and it couldn't shine more true for Daniel. Freshman year was the start. An instant favorite, Daniel Swayze was the only freshman in history to make it onto the varsity football team. Needless to say, the fame sort of got to his head. Next thing he knew, he was dating a cheerleader who was older than him, got to sit wherever he wanted, and everyone knew his name. It was great! But one thing lead to another, and soon enough he was getting into deeper shit as he grew older. Sophomore year was a little more adventurous than freshman year. He went out partying more often, started drinking heavier, tried a few drugs in his spare time - but nothing that would totally screw up his football career. By junior year he was one of the most popular boys in town, and he was knee-deep in crap. He was known to be a notorious bully, and it wasn't uncommon for him to be found lurking around hallways taking lunch money and bothering innocent bystanders. He thought he was invincible and that nothing would change him, but of course, something did. When Daniel was seventeen, freshly into his senior year of high school, both of his parents died in a tragic car accident. They went out on a date night, and simply never returned. Daniel was at home at the time, ironically, since he never was, and got the call from the police. They were hit by a drunk driver, run off the road, and right into a tree - it was instantaneous death for his mother, and his father later died of internal bleeding in the hospital. Daniel had been by his hospital bed when he died, he'd held his hand and he'd cried. And it sort of snapped him out of his rebellious phase. He graduated high school as the quarterback of the football team, and quickly went on to college. When it came to what he wanted to be, Daniel had never been sure. He'd considered going into security - that made sense for a football player, right? - but he'd decided he needed something that didn't involve physical violence. He pushed away football scholarships, and he attended the local college. After a year, he decided he wanted to be a teacher. You see, Daniel's empathic. Which means, that he can feel the feelings of those around him - which means he really is a people person. He lived in his own apartment, by this point, and had sold his old family house. His two younger brothers lived with his grandparents, where they both eventually graduated high school too. And he's always looked out for them. Nothing in Daniel's life was that substantial, though, until one day when he came to meet Katherine Maddox. Daniel had a habit to reaching out to people who might not even want his help. So when he happened to come across a younger girl, who's car had broken down on the road, he felt he had no other choice but to help her - and it helped that she was pretty. He invited her for a ride in his car, which she agreed to reluctantly, and on the way to wherever she was going - he happened to spill out his life's story. It was just his thing, making people believe in him. So she finally told him all about her life, and in the spur of the moment, he proposed a deal for her to take a job at his grandmother's parlor. The moment she said yes was the moment his life changed. He came to love Katie Maddox, and her daughter, Kora, who he treated like his own. He got a job at the local high school, and he teaches English at the school. So he lives with Katie, and he plans to marry her one day - if she'll have him. BEHIND THE MASK ALIAS heart!
