Sub-boards: THE QUESTIONS, THE SUGGESTIONS

Great! You've read the rules and studied the plot. You're finally ready to create a character. Within this board, you'll find four sub-boards: pending, works in progress, abandoned, and declined. Please refrain from bugging the administrators to accept your application. We'll get to it as soon as possible. You may not begin roleplaying until you are accepted. In order to be accepted, your application must be completely filled out, and it must be completed using the correct format. You can retrieve this format here.

Sub-boards: WORKS IN PROGRESS, PENDING APPLICATIONS, DECLINED APPLICATIONS, ABANDONED APPLICATIONS

All of the accepted applications have been placed in this board. Each application has been locked before being moved, so you'll have to ask an administrator to unlock it for you before any modifications are made. The applications are sorted by their member groups. All of the characters that have been discarded will also be in a board inside this one.

After you've been accepted, it's important that you fill out all the claims that apply to you. The face claim, contact claim, and member roster are all very important, so make sure you hit those up. Remember, if you forget to claim a face and someone else snags it, it's your problem, not mine. We all dislike being deprived of something we'd like, so don't make the mistake of not claiming. Everyone claims their claims and nothing hurts. Be sure to post in code when necessary.

Welcome to the world of plots, drama, heartbreak, new loves, first loves, and everything in between. Shipping pages are ultimately the best kind of medicine to your roleplaying cold. Please create one thread with all of your characters rather than multiple for each character. It makes it much easier on the administrators to keep track of everyone, and you're more likely to be plotted with that way! Plots are important. I'm sure someone will be delighted to figure a storyline out with you impromptu-like.

Sometimes we're unable to make impromptu plots. Sometimes we create characters with a perfectly cultivated plot already in mind. With that being said, this board is your white knight to your plot-craving damsel in distress banging against the cavity of your plot-driven mind. Request a brother, a mother, or even a lover. As long as you put [C] in front of the title after your advertisement has been fulfilled, we should have zero problems.

It's like texting, only on the computer! AIM, Yahoo, and the like all fall under this category. Unfortunately, once you send these out, you can't get them back. Use it because you're bored, use it to get answers to the million questions you have, but use it with care. Or not. Go wild, have fun! You're gonna do it anyways, right?

An even bigger step into the 21st Century? Facebook and Twitter have taken over the lives of many people. They can't even go a day without updating their status. In any case, take your pic. Choose one, choose both, or don't choose one at all. It's a personal decision.

They may be at the bottom of the scale technology wise, they do get the job done. Letters, notes, anything that requires being written belongs here. Writing someone a heartfelt letter is always more appreciated than just sending them a text message. It's just not the same. It may be outdated, but c'mon. You know that passing notes in class is always gonna be fun.

Who do you tell you deepest darkest secrets to, when you don't want even a chance of it getting out? What about your secret crush? You don't really want to tell anybody, right? You're only option is to write it in your diary. Or, for those touchy people out there, your journal. Spill your heart out to your little book, just be careful no one else finds it.

Books of Photos. Of you, of your friends, even family. Embarrassing photos, funny ones, sexy ones. Any kind from school pictures, to pictures of that one party that you'd really wished no one else would see. Post them online, put together a scrapbook, don't be afraid to let people see your bright smile as someone next to you is making out with your boyfriend, an image that will be burned into your mind for the rest of your life, and you have the picture to always remind you. Aren't pictures amazing?

The only beauty salon in Yucca Mountain, and therefore the most popular, Absolutely You is literally the only place to go if you want a haircut, hair color, or even the rare perm. They also do nails, so if you’re looking to get that done this is where you go as well. Don’t worry. All the stylist and artists have the proper certificates and whatnot. After all, they’re professionals.

With a friendly atmosphere and burgers that are just to die for, why wouldn’t you go to Betty’s? It’s a really homey place, and they don’t deal with troublemakers. If you start problems, you’re more likely to be banned or thrown in jail rather than ignored. They don’t like trouble, at all, and appreciate it if you leave that outside before you walk through their doors.

The ‘mall’ of Yucca Mountain, the shopping center is THE place to go if you need clothes, shoes, that formal outfit for prom or what not, and anything else you can think of. Even groceries. They really do have everything here, you just have to know where to go, and really, even if you don’t ask and you’ll find out. Enjoy your shopping!

Treating any kind of accident imaginable, even some most people wouldn’t imagine, this is the hospital of Yucca Mountain. The staff is fairly friendly, but don’t be surprised if they try to bite your head off if you’re visiting outside of visiting hours without a darn good reason. They hate messing with the times. Something to keep in mind, always, no matter what you’re doing? Don’t ever do anything you wouldn’t want to explain to the paramedics. Trust us, things get awkward.

The people that work at the fitness center know how hectic peoples days can be, which is exactly why this gym is 24 hours. The price of the membership is fairly reasonable as well. That being said, there really isn’t a reason you shouldn’t be sticking to your resolution to get into or stay in shape, is there? We didn’t think so.

Yucca Mountain High is fairly small. There's about five hundred students enrolled. The mascot, being the Coyote, makes its appearances in halls, spirit events, and symbols throughout the school. Being it is the only high school within Yucca, most of the students know each other in some form or another. The campus is always bustling whether it be from teachers staying late, students arriving early, or the usual madness of school hours.

Mackay Park hadn't been constructed until recently. The town needed a bit of green to break up the brown of the desert. It's an asset to the town now. There's a skate park on the north end. There's a couple jungle gyms sprinkled about, and picnic areas can be held for festivities. There are trails leading off from the park. Joggers and their dogs are constantly spotted heading onto them. During the summer, a small water feature is opened to use. Teenagers usually take advantage of it.

The public library is stuffed with books. A nerd's heaven, a slacker's lifesaver, the public library is opened every day of the week except Sunday. The public library has everything from a biography on Rosa Parks to the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. Sometimes, on request, the librarians can even have libraries from Vegas ship desired books over. As long as you talk quietly and respect the people around, the librarians aren't too strict about noise.

Date night anyone? The Cinema is one of the main attractions Yucca Mountain offers. Teenagers, adults, and seniors alike scuffle to beat the lines when their newest movies are out. It's a popular place. It smells of popcorn twenty-four seven, and the reclining seats are very comfortable. There's the occasional make-out session during scenes, but don't worry, they're usually kicked out.

Rangler's is a modest place. It's not one of the exclusive, V.I.P. only clubs you may come across in Las Vegas, but it'll do for Yucca. Every night, there's a live performance. It's the perfect place to grab a beer and dance to the live entertainment. Rangler's is decorated with chairs of different woods, cups of different brands, and the beer isn't the greatest of beers, but it's easy to have a good time given you're with the right people.

Special memories, space-time manipulators, time travelers, roleplaying bittersweet futures, or simply taking a trip down memory lane, this is where you character can travel to the past and future. Of course, you have to have a specific reason for traveling. We prefer you keep your time travel at a minimum because we'd rather keep it in the present and not stuck in the past or future. Get creative though, the possibilities are endless.

Sure, when you rest your head on your pillow at night your mind takes you to places you might know fairly well or places entirely new to you. Either way, it's just a dream and unless you are a precognitive dreamer, it probably won't come true. Of course, you must be careful. A dream manipulator may sweep into your dreams and change details. It's dangerous, but you can't help what you dream about, can you?

If you want to roleplay something really quick, whether it be an argument or something sweet, you can post a thread here. The posting minimum does not apply. You can simply write as much as you need to get the thread done. However, the threads you do here do not count to your posting count because they're not full-fledged posts if you can get away with a couple sentences. Please refrain from a couple sentences, though. Try a paragraph. Thank you.

Can you make graphics? Do you need graphics? Can you make graphics but you're feeling lazy so you want to request graphics? Well, you're in luck! Graphic Kingdom is yours to take advantage of, and Char would love to make your an image for the application if you so desire. Members who can create graphics are encouraged to make their own graphic shops. Also, check out the button gallery! Nobody loves a button more than a joyous roleplayer on our forum!

Unfortunately, we do not have tokens or big, fluffy teddy bears to win in this arcade. Instead, we have a subdivision of in-character game and out-of-character games. The in-character games require an accepted character. A majority of them are in fact in-character. A couple games we have already are Hot or Not, Perfect Match, and Stalker, but you're more than welcome to share other games with your fellow Wickeds! Please do not take advantage of the games. If I sense the games are receiving more action than the threads, I will delete it.

Crap. You're going away. You're leaving permanently. For some reason, you're being forced into posting here, whether it be to visit your crazy aunt in Kentucky or being grounded for being on here too often. As long as you post in this board saying you'll be gone, you'll be safe for the allotted time. We're friendly about absences, but an activity check can only save you once unless otherwise stated.
